Why do you think Democrat favorability ratings are so low?

After the election, it was the usual. Democrats went on tv and blamed Kamala’s defeat on her being a woman and black. It wasn’t within them to say, “Yeah, we did a terrible job.” Same old excuses. People are tired of being attacked as racist, sexist, etc. every time they don’t agree with a liberal.

Because Biden’s regime was terrible in every way, unless you are an illegal alien or transgender. He is corrupt and incompetent and lies even more than most politicians. The other Democrats in power supported him, at least publicly. Americans suffered and they don’t like that.

The Democrats may have been the party of the working man back in the day, but that’s no longer the case. They now cozy up to leftist, anti-American billionaires like George Soros. Americans don’t like that, either. They don’t like high prices, less availability of food, and people like Gretchen Whitmer using the Covid pandemic to restrict freedoms for people they didn’t like. Churches couldn’t open but bars could. That’s not going to endear any party to the population.

I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? I wonder if the transference serves another purpose than to show us our wounds and/or past experiences, but is a present coping strategy for managing what we don’t want to face (even if unconsciously) in the present—-current relationships, life circumstances, etc. Can anyone relate to this concept of escape in relation to their therapy relationship? How does this play out for you?
